Guys Had a very interesting Day Yesterday and Today .I Have Two Data Recovery Machines .Both Of Them Use A Chinese Motherboard .The Issue is that these chinese motherboards had the following issues .They used to hang of BSOD .Well no one wa...s able to solve the issue .This is what i found out .The Chinese motherboard was using the following capacitors 1 :2200 micro farad / 6.3 volts 2 : 2...200micro farad / 16volts 3 : 1000 micro farad / 6.3 volts 4 : 220 micro fard and 100 micro farad There were total of 20 capacitors in this motherboard .The 1000 Micro farad capacitors had swollen up " Pregnant " .Well Fine Might be this is bad .In the other motherboard 2200 micro farad 6.3 volt caps were swollen up .So what i did was this .I removed all The Capacitors Of Both The motherboards .All Means All 20 of them .Then i Used My Protek 608 Multimeter and tester the capacitance of all of them .Hell even the once that were not swollen up had different capacitance .Then i checked the ESR value of all the capacitors using my ESR meter .Guys i even sell this gadget online .Anyways ESR value is the internal resistance of a capacitor and can be measured with ESR meter or a LCRQ Meter Only .Sometimes it happens that a Technician Will Just Test The Capacitance , Short And Leaky status Of a Capacitor and if he finds the things ok he assumes its ok .No its not imagine if the internal resistance of a particular capacitor is just .02 ohms and it raises to 22 ohms what will happen ? . Hence Make Sure You people buy ESr meter ;-) .Even The capacitors that looked ok had Wrong ESR values .Well then i took hold of my old motherboard inventory and searched for quality capacitors from nichicon and rubycon .I then tested the capacitance and ESr value of all Those Caps and Then Installed It On My chinese boards .Well they Now Work With a Charm And Hopefully Will Last Me For Some Time Frame .Happy BAD Caps Replacement .If You Have a question Please Post .Do Not forget The Like Button .
